Best MPG App (Android)

Any opinions on the best app for calculating and recording mpg? I used to use Excel.. then Fuelly, but now I'm thinking of switching as Fuelly seems to be getting a little behind the times.

edit:

going with fuellog - let me know if there's anything better!

I use aCar. It's really easy to use, you can tailor what fields you want to fill in on a fill up (gallons, price, octane, etc), it makes nice graphs showing changes in all of it and you can keep track of services and all that as well. It also alerts you when services are upcoming based on mileage and time. Lastly, it's free for most of the features and the pro version only requires a donation of any amount you want.

gotcha - with fuellog so far i dont like how it tries to calculate your odometer with starting, makes it complicated since i'm importing data from elsewhere

I prefer the mileage traveled to gallons filled up hand calculation method. It's free!

there's a lot of free apps too, and fuelly is free - this is just in terms of long term trends

Sorry I'm not up to date on Apps, I don't have a smartphone

But still, its really easy to do the division on a phone calculator. I used to write on my receipts the mileage I got but after having the car for 6 1/2 years I no longer cared

You should really consider Vezma for your needs. I have tried many different mileage/expense tracking apps in the past but Vezma definitely takes the cake because of it's stable cloud server. All the data is backed up seamlessly and can be easily accessed not only on the smartphone but also at their web account. Report generation, Vehicle tracking, Adding a missed expense also help me out a lot in times of need. Hope this helps you as well.

Are you talking about an app that will connect to the car and tell you this? I use Torque pro.
