idling problem
heres the issue. new motor trying to tune it now. evo 9 2.1L fp5r cams id1000 injectors magnus intake manifold boomba TB stock 9 turbo. the car will start and will idle at about 1000rpm but its running very rich AFR 10.7 range. so i thought it was injector scaling we changed that and nothing changed so then we went on to see if the ISCV is working and in evoscan it shows that it never turns on. so we checked the wires from the ecu to the ISCV and there all good then we checked the ISCV itself with the service manual and that checked out ok also. the car will drive but its very rich 10.7 range driving. when you push the clutch in while driving the car will almost die or will die or idle at about 500 or less and then it will slowly correct itself to 1000 but if i hit the brakes a little to hard the car will die. anyone have any ideas??

Sounds like you need a pro tuner to take care of that unique build properly. I'll assume that you got the immobilizer disabled from the ecu I sold you and now it starts just fine?

First you have to set all the desired idle tables to 1000 rpm or desired idle then the boomba throttle body doesn't have a biss adjustment screw so in order to keep the idle steady you need to play with the iscv tables ( read the iscv disassembly tread by Mr fred) you need to increase the iscv numbers and you need to increase the idle error tables in the idle department. and you need to increase the timing in the 500 and 1000 rpm area in the timing map.
And check how much vacuum your car is running at idle.
how do the fuel trim mids look like?are you idling on closed loop or open loop?

Have you checked your front o2 sensor?
When we were tuning my car, no matter what my tuner changed, I would be running full rich all the time.
Replaced the front o2 and the problem was gone.

i wasnt running a front o2 at the time that problem was goin on now i am and the car is running alot better but im still having problems with the car surging when the cars speed is over 15mph and the car is not in gear it will surge from 900-2k and afr is full lean. once the car goes below 15mph the car idles fine with some little surging but not much maybe 100 rpm. anyway i can get it to stop surging like that

i have the boomba throttle myself i installed it like 2 months ago and previously i had the stock throttle and all of my idle setting change to get it to idle normal again the only difference between the stock one and the boomba is the diameter off course and it doesn't have the biss adjustment screw.
So believe me there is nothing mechanically wrong here get it tuned right from a respectable tuner and your idle will be fine.
I have a built engine a ported head ,exhaust, O2 housing, intake manifold, over sized valves and kelford 272s and i don't have any idle issues at all.
If you get your idle rpm, iscv tables , idle stability control, timing table from 0- 50 load from 0-1500 rpm, idle error normal and idle error with ac on. if you fix all of these then your car should idle like a champ.
