I think you might be confusing Street Prepared with Prepared. Street Prepared and Street Modified cannot run a lighter subframe.

Prepared is for the cars with no interior, engine swaps, etc. Basically, not much in terms of limitations.

Yes I know this and frankly I dont care even though I actively auto-x. That doesn't help the point of the thread. The point of this thread is to raise awareness of the fact that many of the higher quality suspension parts that take custom engineering work to make are not ready available in the U.S. Only a handful of Evo performance shops could attempt to produce a tubular subframe.

It is understandable though because the major breakthroughs have been engine, and turbo related. Everything else that was modifiable was available throughout this platforms current market life. By this I mean; suspension bushings, coilovers, wheels, drivetrain, differentials, and other things of this nature.

Bringing up an old thread as they say.
Anyone buy one of these? Exchange rates put all of them pretty close. I also see that Buschur offers a front. Didn't see a rear on there sight though.

I've been looking into these as well and the new ones on the market with the most competitive price are the Voodoo Racing subframes.

Searched that thread which lead me to another thread about a very light version of the rack custom made for EvoDan with a manual rack on it. I messaged Diamond Race Cars to get some info on it. Would be interesting to see if I could use the manual rack setup as well for what I want to do.
