Scratching noise when let of gas pedal in gear or neutral
Started happening about a week ago out of nowhere. Whenever I drive, if I let off the gas pedal in any gear or just roll in neutral car makes a bad scratching noise that sounds like its coming from the front bottom of the car. If I am pressing on gas or brakes, I do not hear the sound. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Does your car have a lot of miles on it?
My car does this as well. I believe Mike W from Road Race once posted that it's what happens to an AWD car with age on it... the bushings etc for the driveline grow slack and when you let off the gas you can hear the drivetrain moving around.
Something like that, anyways. Could also be an aftermarket clutch, they can be rather noisy.

Ok totally forgot about this thread. So my problem with the noise just magically vanished after a couple of weeks and hasn't come back since. So I'm not exactly sure what the problem could of been.
