clunking noise when braking
Just curious but i have a clunking noise when i use my brakes. It sounds like it is coming from inside the engine bay and is at the same tempo as my cam lope. It only happens when the car is at low rpm, like if im in nuetral coming to a stop or slowing down from cruising speeds but rpms is low enough to make cam lope. I had it in the shop and they said bad front lower engine mount. Would that make the noise im hearing? It gets progressively louder as i brake harder. From quiet to loud, the harder i brake the volume increases but the tempo still follows the cam lope and general vibration of cam.
Pretty sure its the front lower mount but i am curious what everyone else thinks and if anyone has experienced this themselves

No nothing like when braking. Take off sounds and feels normal if i am.easy on the clutch release. If i drop clutch too quickly, it gives a single clunk. Or when i am in gear and let off throttle at 3000 rpm or so, ill get an initial clunk when drivetrain grabs and starts to slow down car.
