clean fuel injectors

I want to clean my fuel injectors but not sure to do with the process to as me thinking that I have to pour it in to the gasoline hole before pumping gas on my car. But I am told that since my evo takes premium it is not really necessary. The type of cleaner i have is techron. Help needed. thanks in advance.

What do you mean how ? You take them out and ship them to fuel injector clinic. 20min to take them out, get new seals.

Fuel injector clinic will ship out as soon as they get your injectors cleaned. Doesnt take that long for FIC to clean out injectors but might take a couple days for you to received them unless you pay for one day shipping... try AMSoil cleaner. Good luck

I have the car for 10 years now and for all those years the car was parked away. I just started driving it. So I'm not sure if I should even clean the fuel injectors. If I should then is it possible to do it by myself instead of shipping them out. If I'm wrong all i have to do is pour the cleaner where I put gas right?

Well most people don't clean them if they don't have to.but yeah you can put some injectors cleaner in the gas tank or better yet take it to the performance shop and let them do it.when did mine it took one hour.they have injector cleaning machine.it's pricey tho cause they took it out, cleaned them and put it back in.but im on E85 so I had to.

Okay. Thanks for the input. I think I am going to try to clean it myself.
