I had an GG Evo IX MR, it was totaled while parked and the insurance gave me ~$22k, I think it should had been about $26 minus deductible, depreciation, ... I live in PR so prices here are a kinda higher.
At that time the car had about 46k miles and it was slightly modded.

Has anyone here actually paid 22-26k for their used Evo with 70k-100k miles on it?
I don't think anyone would want to say. It keeps it out of the hands of little kids, but the prices are a we bit over. It is a supply and demand thing, but salvage title evos should not be going for 18k-sometimes I've seen it 21k!?

Thanks buddy, I waited a long time to find the perfect Evo. I definitely almost pulled the trigger a couple times in years past but I really am glad I waited. I'll be honest I am not the most patient individual, but in this case patience definitely was a virtue.

Evo 9 in the US is so cheap compared to AUS, looking for an EVO 9 is 30k AUD = 26.6k USD regardless of the km it has. some drop to 28k and has over 140k KM. Just letting you know from AUS

In 2004 I bought a new Evo 8 for 29,000 and wrecked it 4 years later. November of 2012 I got back in the game with a 2006 Evo 9 MR for 25,000 with 65,000 on the clock and roughly 8,000 in mods.

Bought mine new in Aug 2007 for 31,xxx this included a 700 dollar shipping fee to have it shipped from texas to maryland where I was stationed at the time, still own it, about to roll 24000, particularly with the 9, they only made them one year for the US, 2006, so there's already less of them than the 8s in the US which of course will make them a little more scarce than the 8s, and as time goes on people wreck their evos, total them, blow up the engine, etc, they're, of course, going to become more scarce in the US, which comes back to the old rule supply and demand, there is definitely still a high demand for them here in the US as supply dwindles, And I think most 9 and evo 8 owners know this and know what they have hence why you have owners asking 5000+ over market or kbb value

I am probably the only guy to overpay for his evo . But I wanted a WW IX, and I got a WW IX MR...$19k....with 100K miles. probably overpaid...especially with some of the problems it had...but it was well worth it. Only white IX in a 500 mile radius for sale at dealership. no mods. new brakes, compression test was done and all cylinders were on point. unmolested block. Never cams, or any head work.
