Hi guys, i am just wondering if someone could please help me sort out my boost problem with my new evo 1. It is quite modified with a big ball bearing turbo hks f-con computer etc but its not boosting? turbo spools loud and fine but NO boost what so ever, just like a n/a lancer who can help me diagnose my problem? thanks guys!

have checked everywhere for leaks and cant find any, i am going to try another wastegate shortly, thanks guys.

Hi guys tryd new wastegate today and still not boosting grrr! the guy i got it off claims its a "new turbo" so cant be that? cant find leaks anywhere, im puzzled!

No, i have just gone over hoses i/c piping etc with spray bottle soapy water, whats a better way to do a leak test??

I suggest you read up and then PERFORM an actual Boost leak test. I have a funny vision of you doing soapy water without knowing what you are doing. Do you sprinkle it like they do at Catholic masses?

Hows about you give me some info on how to do it seeing u sound so onto it? im old school i do things the old way. If you got nothing nice to say or advice to give then dont say anything at all hero

Calm down and click on the "Search" button now that you are here. The info you are looking for is all on this forum. I built a leak tester using only $12.35 on parts. I am sure your old school mechanic could gather parts and do it for free. :}
