Sounds like lifter tick. but there is a odd of beat sound. I would change the oil and look for flakes in the oil

Might be a really bad lifter thats stuck take em out and bleed em

I'd say lifters.. that off beat sound, sounds as if the rocker is moving about. Pull the valve cover and see whats going on in there. If that rocker falls out its place it could get a bit nastier than just lifters.

lifter tick. theres a correct way to bleed the lifters and a wrong way.

I thought this as well, but i've seen numerous different ways to bleed these lifters and they all pretty much give the same result.

- bleed lifter in diesel oil ( how I bleed them )
- bleed lifter in oil
- bleed lifter with no fluid until lifter is empty ( this one takes the longest for lifter tick to go away due to no oil inside until oil pressure has filled it )

Workshop manual uses diesel oil method.
