insurance only want to give cash value which I don't know what it is. They don't even know what it is. They told me they need to wait and see if they will have enough money to cover the other vehicles damage cost and building damages

Very unfortunate that this happened, but the shop should have to cover everything regardless if it is stock or not. This was your car and you entrusted it to them to fix it. Not make it worse. Have you gotten your insurance company involved at all to go after the shops insurance company or them directly? GL either way. I would be pretty pissed off and bummed out as well.

That's "Insurance Tactic". first, they're going to make you wait, then lowball you with a VERY LOW cash amount. it's either they give you another Evo, or give you enough money and get your evo.
They don't wanna cover aftermarket parts? your car has aftermarket parts while under their care.
KBB Fair condition of Evo 8 with standard equipment is STILL $13K+ (and that's FAIR condition... higher if it's better condition than FAIR).

4. there are scammers everywhere and i just don't trust anyone.
what would happen if everyone who blew their engine posted a gofundme page? good luck!

Guys I totally understand why you wouldn't donate. It's not a scam. I put all info in the gofundme so I posted that. Basically insurance told me they will only offer me cash value and it's been a while since I heard anything else from them. This happened in Rhode Island at xtreme auto body
