help diagnose this noise.

when im WOT, the car makes this weird screeching noise at around 7000 rpms, what is it?

a little back story, so i had a timing belt failure which damaged the head, so got another head and changed the timing and balance belt too. after this i went for data logs and the first pull it makes this noise.

everything is normal from 3000-6500 rpm, as soon as it reaches 7000+ it makes this noise.

any ideas?

listen between 8-10 seconds, i let off the throttle, thats why the noise stops otherwise it contines and as soon as the noise comes the knock sensor gives reading of 7 counts of knock, before there is almost hardly any knock.

Are you sure it's not your external dump?

yes im sure its not the external dump, i know that sound, this one is diffrent. plus it knocks at that noise, i dont think the external dump should make the knock sensor go off.

but will check anyway, maybe its loose.

if the EGR hoses or one of them is not connected, can it make this kind of noise?

or the egr has no connection to it?

That sounds like wind drag.. Any exterior detachable parts that might cause air drag?

why would wind drag cause 7 counts of knock?
