new to the evo world cross addicted from 240sx

whats up guys!?
my name is sterling, i picked up a project 2003 2.3l evo a few months ago. almost to the time now when il be driving it soon.. anyone in san antonio austin area? you may see me cruising in the next few weeks.

I to came from a world of 240's. I had a zenki with rb20 swap. Reason I jumped over to the evo was because I got tired of constantly trying to find parts for the rb (which was impossible) and the car was so small. The evo had everything I wanted and it came stock like that.

thanks guys, the goal is to bring the car back to life and have it looking good again. im going to use it as a daily driver and maybe some random track days. looking forward to driving a turbo car again. my 240 had a 2jzgte with stock twins.

ya im gonna run 5zigen. just thought id see peoples opinions, id like a new set of wheels eventually but these will work for now.

i posted those rpf1 for sale on craigslist if anyone is interested. i ended up getting manley turbo tuff rods that were too thick and would hit the lower edge of the cylinder sleeves with the 2.3 stroker crank. so im still waiting on new rods i ordered last week.. ugh waiting game.. ha

rods showed up finally. now to put everything back together and see if this car can be daily driven. traded the rpf1 for some work emotions but staggered so im going to sell or trade them. these are the 18x8.5+30
