Tps help

Having problems with my tps for the longest time, ive set it to 13.33 but still get the P0122 code on random i have set it over and over again but after a day or two once i start it up in the morning code keeps coming back. Ive replaced the tps sensor 2 times already with a brand new oem unit but problem still remains. every time i try to clear the code i check it on evoscan but it would read at around 3-4% but i have set it manually at 13.33 the day before and i never touched the tps after it has been set properly. hope someone can help me out. thanks

13.3% is good. 3,4% is way off.

When you look at the voltage is it steady or moving around?

It slowly moves around about +/- 2 or 3%, so if i start it up and the cel turns on the tps reading is at 4% when it changes it would go up slowly to around 6% but it would never go back to 13.33 as i have previously set the day before.

TPS is going out. Order a new one, can find official Mitsu with part number for $50

Sorry, just reread your post. You could have a ground issue with that sensor. Log the sensor at accessory, and see what full open reads when it does this.

Could be an issue, not sure yet, with your ECU. Most likely it is a ground issue.

Rarely, but heard it happen that a plug to the ECU, the little pin comes loose in the plug, and doesn't seat tight, however, this would be just a random check.

My money is on a ground wire, loose in the engine bay. Any other weird electrical anomalies?

No other electrical problems just the tps, do you think i should replace the connector? Cant seem to find any breaks on the wires right after the connector.

Could be that connector specifically. Those connectors are male on the sensor side, and female clamps on the pigtail side. Might be a loose clamp on that connector, check it and see if you can close it possibly. Also check the wire side of the connector and see if one of the pins wiggles.
