blow off valve

blow off valve

i got an evo 8 and it is fully stock.i also got the HKS SSQV blow off valve i want to install. now do i need to get a flang pipe adaptor or does the blow off valve bolt right on?

bolts right up take the stock plastic one off and place the new one right where the stock one goes.. unless you got the one that mounts on to the upper intercooler pipe..

Which BOV do you have? one that mounts to the UICP or ?

your car is gonna stall..if you use that bov..it's not the best for the 8...

DITCH THAT HKS BOV NOW!!!!

Just get that 9 BOV and it will work Better than that POS HKS!!! Guaraaaaanteeeeeeeeeee!!!

OMG......

You just bought an VIII, and its completely stock, but the first thing you wanna put in it is a bov...

Sometimes I wish there was some type of test that you are required to take before you can buy an evo.

lol give him a break, some ppl really enjoy the sounds of BOV coming from the turbo. But the thing is choosing the right one to use. I would recommend a recirculated one. The HKS is not good for the 8 but decent for the 9. If you want sound get the Greddy Type RS

I agree about the Greddy RS. Had it on mine for 7 months and never stalled
