aem 320 e85 fuel pump

so I installed this fuel pump so I can run e85 but it seems to be too tall. when I put it back in it was sitting on the bottom of the tank but I could get the nuts on so I tightened it down hoping the gasket would do the rest. I filled the car up with gas yesterday and drove and the next morning I have a huge puddle of gas under my car. my guess is that it didn't seal on top so when it sloshed the gas ran over the top and sides of the tank. Anyone have any ideas on how I can shorten the pump or make it at least seal off?

Just in case anyone else ever has this issue. RE-USE the factory fuel pump sock, and everything will fit just fine.

Or go with the DW300c. It flows more and it has a compact/OEM design so there's no fitment issues.

I might just do that for fitment purposes - I'm still in the researching phase

I read in another thread someone saying DW pumps are crap (he was complimenting Aem in their place), what would you say about that?

I had an AEM 320 before E85, and it blew up trying to switch fuels.
In order for it to fit, I had to cut a little. And I wasn't able to use the OEM fuel sock.
