Guaranteed best deals on Hawk/Goodridge/DBA/Carbotech

Check out this brake pad sale - Best deals going!

Street/combo pads

End of month special - HPS fr/rr at the LOWEST PRICE HERE

We stock LOTS of Hawk brake pads for quite a few applications like all Subaru's, and many other imports. We even carry some BMW pads. Call for your application - they are in stock and ready to go.

I've seen mis-information posted on these so here is what you can expect from the Hawk Street lineup.

HPS - Excellent street pad - metallic based compound with good feel - firm pedal - and moderate to low dust with little or no noise. They do not 'grab' like OEM pads but have a smooth and controllable feel with good braking power in reserve. A very good street pad for all around use at a good price. There are some reports of squeal - it seems related to being used after the OEM pads on OEM rotors - especially right after install. Good bedding/time seems to cure it in most cases.

HP+ A very noticeable jump in friction with some additional noise and dust although still not as dusty as the OEM pads. Great for autocross or hard street use as the cold friction is high with acceptable rotor wear. They are also a good choice for a track newbie but will NOT stand up to hard core track use. You need race pads for that. The higher friction is IMO well worth the pretty insignificant squealing. Cold stopping was acceptable in New Jersey winters.

Performance Ceramics: The newest Hawk compound designed to give good street performance with no noise and VERY LOW DUST. Reports from users indicate they are as advertised. The intent was to make a pad that could take hard use without falling apart while making very little dust or noise. This is for keeping your wheels clean - no noise - and good performance/price.

Combo deals in stock!!
Hawk HPS Brake Pads - Front and Rear (You get all 8 pads)
$160 shipped **And a nice decal to boot**

Hawk HP+ Brake Pads Front and Rear (all 8 - and 2 decals - 1 black and 1 white )

NEW ITEM - SP PERFORMANCE BRAKE PADS

Not a houshold name but a fine product at a great price. SP Performance brake pads are a premium semi-metallic pad with only moderate dust and noise. Far better than commodity pads at the chain stores at a comparable price.

How do the Hawk HPS pads compare with the stock Brembos? My pads are about shot and I want to go up a level or two but I drive mostly on the street and am getting ready to run the Dragon again. I want to go with quality pads, SS lines and a better brake fluid, I'll upgrade my rotors when they're shot.
My zip is 34983, PM or email me.

My experience w/ HPS pads as compared to many OEM pads is that they are firmer and offer better pedal modulation and feel than the OEM pads. They do require a bit more pedal effort to engage - but control is improved.

They dust less and typically wear very well and are a good price.

They are street pads though so they of course have limitations.

If you can tolerate higher levels of dust and noise then you may like to try the HP+. I run those on my WRX Wagon and will probably never be able to go back to a pure street pad. They bite very well and it is easy to get used to it.

I keep them bedded in and the noise is very reasonable IMO. They do honk like a dying mule in reverse occasionally but overall I find the performance well worth it.

Clean fresh fluid is imperative - ATE is a good performance fluid and value. And it's so pretty

I'm still trying to find undrilled, unslotted rear rotors. Are the SP rotors available unmolested?
