Tint
what percent tint to you have and if you have a good pick post it. I want to tint my black evo, but i don't want to go too dark or too light. I'm picky with how tint looks, and I just don't know what % look like what when actually on a car.

I don't think i'd be doing the front window... cops here don't care much about side window tint, as long as you have the window down when they have you pulled over... pretty much so they can see that you're not threating

50% is legal FYI Its gives it a good look without being that dark dark look. If you get metallic tint it will give a bit more reflection. You can tint the front windows(not windshield) legally but just 50% or higher.

35% is the limit here too. I have 20%. This is what it looks like on a bright sun shiney day. The 300 next to me is also 20%. On an overcast/rainy day it is very dark and makes me nervous going past cops.
If you really want to be slick (and ballsy), you can get 35% smoke on the side and 35% platinum (mirror like, but not true mirror, looks pencil gray) on your entire windshield. It will make the sides look just as dark as 20% (or even darker) but if you get pulled over, they will check the sides and see that it is only 35%. The only problem is if they check your windshield which is illegal to tint pretty much everywhere. But the thing is, it looks gray so they might not notice. Plus since it is all one peice they will see your factory sunshade/dot matrix and not the usually aftermarket looking strip at the top. The fact that the windshield is blocking out that final path for sunlight makes the whole car look a lot darker on sunny days.
That is 20% platinum on my old Galant.

35% all around.
Technically most states (except most of the southern/warmer climate states) are 50% in the front side windows and any % in the rear side/windshield.
However 50% is too light, at that point, why even put tint on.
15% and 5% looks very good however, you're a beacon for law enforcement minus a neon kit.
35% is inbetween, btw if you think black tint will attract attention, just try putting any kind of green or metallic tint on.
