has anyone bought one of these??
I've been looking at buying a Vortex Generator for my evo, but don't want to pay Mitsubishi dealership prices or prices for an aftermarket carbon fiber one. I found a few knock offs on ebay. I was just wondering if anyone has bought one of these and if the fitment/quality is good or not. Here's the ebay link to it. If anyone has one and can provide some insight please let me know. thanks.

P.S. If this is in the wrong forum, please move it. thanks

I bought an aftermarket Carbon Fiber one, and the fit was pretty good. I'd guess that plastic may actually fit better, because it's easier to form uniformly, but I am really just guessing. It is funny, however, that they call it in the auction: You are bidding on a brand new EVO 8 antenna cover.

Just look at the feedback... I am considering buying one as well, however a carbon fiber looking one. Anyhow there are plenty of positive feedback remarks saying the fitment is perfect.
So I say go for it.

For the price ($72 shipped) it's not a bad deal but for a few bucks more, I'd get it from Cal at Speed Element and support our vendors. There is also recourse if it doesn't fit well since he's always on these boards, rather than some nameless, faceless person off eBay (Don't get me wrong though, I have bought plenty of stuff off eBay myself!)
Hey Cal, do I get a discount for the shameless plug?

I think it's $79 shipped (Unpainted as well). There should be a post in the vendor 'For Sale' section which has pics.
...and here it is....

From the pics I've seen, fitment should be perfect too.
