took 5 hours but car has now been detailed
included in this are before and after pics it is pic heavy, guy started at 9:30 am ended aprox 2.45 pm. This is not the best quality like zymol but good enough for daily driven. Only wish i had better camera at the time, Only had camera phone 3megapixel on hand.
Before also includes wetsanding and paint touchups this is a bodyshop and garage btw, these guys also went ahead and stain several area on the bumper beforehand to makes sure the paint was flush to work with and remove any stuck on flakes, etc quick notes the the driver side rear was paint rubbed by a random senior citizen who does not know how to drive and who does not recognize that they hit a car and left the area before i could kick their head in:
Begin buffing after pre wash/rinse and soak :
car then washed again:
apply the wax, used meguirs cleaner wax since this car is my daily driver:

dont knock the spolier dude... i get wttf looks from people all the time, but the best reason is it draws cops off my back they even think its just a baby lancer. cops only need a bs reason to pull you over.

Wow, 5 hours to detail the car?
I put nearly 30 hours into detailing 2 evo's. 15 hours into paint correction and wet-sanding.
As long as your happy with the results I guess thats all that counts.

what is it a competition? Maybe his car wasn't as bad as yours. Instead of acting like your better than him why not say nothing at all. i know it takes me about 3 hours for a full detail but thats because i never let my car get 15 hour bad.

The car looks fantastic, and the wing replicates the low profile Evo 260 wing, I have the same one on mine. Here's an article on it..
http://www.carenthusiast.com/reviews...+VIII/260.html
It's actually one of the reasons I chose mine over other Evo's, it's stealthy and functional, while getting much less attention from cops. With the stock wing there's no way to avoid being labelled a "Ricer" by everyone that doesn't know what an Evo is, and a LOT of attention from the cops.
So, anyway, I like it

it is a stock wing.. evo's came with it at one point my came with it its on the fee's as add on the cost was more then a regular wing...

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...sunroof-2.html
o and only 500 made with that wing
oe evos did come with it its on the sticker which (which was a option,)and i use to sell them at rick case with small wings there was few made with that wing on it... but was a oe option
you can order one
https://www.mitsubishiparts.com/oe_parts_catalog.html
Collision Catalog - 2003 - Mitsubishi - Lancer Evolution
Trunk lid, Spoiler, Spoiler, Bule/black, Bule/black - W/high mount lamp opening - W/high mount lamp opening $908.08 $681.06 $0.00 $681.06
there is no rear brake light like the typical brake light and there is no spot for it... thats why it was a dealer option to have that 3rd brake light within the window or to have it on the spoiler...

but for paint correction, the prestage before buffing was wet sanding all knicks and bumps, and thorough application of touch up paint to areas that required it.
take a guess, it drives a big tugboat v-8, has grey hair, and wears mr. mcgoo glasses, and happend in a grocery store parking lot
