no its in the plactic it self... i feel i need an actual lens cover replacement... any where to get that besides a full new headlight?

Are you talking about the clear plastic part of the headlight or the housing?

Post some pics and we'll be able to tell you if it's salvageable..

when I had my 9, I had the jdm evo 8 mr headlights on there but I took out the bottom amber piece. I liked how the clear lens on the parking lights (the amber part on usdm lights) of the jdm headlights looked.

Flat black housing + USDM orange piece = win. The only thing I never liked about JDM lights are the big ol' orange strip.
