Here in Long Island we are lucky to have one of the best powdercoaters. Shaun is a true artist and perfectionist when it comes to powdercoating. I asked Shaun to powdercoat some parts of my evo. I just got the powdercoat back and all i have to say is WOW!!! Shaun did the powdercoating and DAYUM!! The quality and craftsmanship is AMAZING!!!

Here are the before pictures....














I decided to have Shaun do an exotic color for these parts called Purple Starlight. Its an awesome iridescent purple with some nice flakes in it. Its a 3 stage coating with clear coat. I took pictures with and without the flash so you can see the change of colors. When I first picked these parts up my jaw hit the floor. The finish on these parts are absolutley perfect! Shaun went the extra step and machined down the lettering on the turbo and the manifold. On to the pics:

Just got them back yesterday... once they are installed i definitely will. There is plenty more powder coating still to come though

Wow looks awesome. Crazy thing is, I Have the Tomei arms turbo, gtspec trunk brace, injen hard piping also. Im going a very bright yellow on everything with mine except turbo heat coated black w/ yellow lettering.

Lol... there will be other colors posted soon I love the Tomei, hits fast and hard like the stock 9 but pulls harder across the RPM's. I havent really pushed it on the dyno yet but in a few weeks I definitely will. Ill post up the results.


Thanks man. It all depends on what your getting done and what colors. The Starlight Purple is a 2 coat metallic with a 3rd clear coat so its more expensive then your standard 1 coat. The pricing is fairly decent but the quality is stellar!
