BabyEvo - 472 HP/495 Nm @ 1100 kg...

Hello everyone ! I am from Poland and I would like to present all of You my Evo - this is not Lancer, but it's Mitsubishi too...

First of all I must say "sorry" for my english - it could be not perfect but I will try.

This build was inspired by my Evo - I had Evo 9 MR in Graphite Gray, but i had to sold it :/

I was really missing this car, so I must do something with this. Then I bought this:

This is Mitsubishi Colt 1.6 16v 4WD. I am not sure if it was offered in USDM, but in EU 4WD was really a diamond.

First I've put some wheels:

OZ Superturismo 7 x 16"

Then I did some research haha:

Spagetti:

Then...

...I didn't knew that it is so huuuge...

...but here it is !

Some mounts:

Exhaust:

Intake:

So close to the end...

Body refreshing...

...and interior:

My old - new wheels in hydrographics:

Tadaaa:

@stock turbo:

First 1/4 mile start: 3rd place:

Dyno:

In 2011 it looks that:

I've bought Coolingmist methanol injection but currently I don't need it, so:

Custom header:

Grimmspeed i like

2011 intake:

And the pic of the way I've used my water/meth injection system

Stock Evo 9 IC, TB and intake manifold @ 23 psi:

Now some info:

- Ross Pistons prepared by AMS Performance

- Based head and block works

- Kelford 272' cams

- JDM 3-bar Map Sensor with PSI based boost control

- Custom Air intake with 4" Green filter

Bah, typical eurotrash junkmobile.

Just kidding man, that's a really cool build! I had to take a jab because you're hatin' on the P-cars.

What inspired you to get started on this? It's not something that just anybody can do and it certainly requires dedication and a lot of custom fabrication.

Looks like you're making considerable HP there with the new turbo this year. Any indication that the engine mounts or drivetrain is feeling stressed? I'm not sure what you're running in the rear of the car, but I'd assume from the pics that it's the Evo transmission and transfer case.

I've never seen a car so ugly that I would drive the hell out of, until now! Very sleeper-ish. An Evo motor & drivetrain in a very light car, yes please
