Some Evo and other content. (Updated 17/12/2012)
Well so i recently started a site... Yes another 1 of those car sites but to reflect motoring in Singapore where to buy a car , just to buy a piece of paper to certify u are allowed to own the car will cost you 60,000 SGD.. GTRs here cost in the range of almost 300k sgd with current COE (certificate of entitlement) prices. Despite all that Singapore still has some pretty rad cars so i decided to show case some of it.
Law enforcement is also ridiculously strict. We dont only have police attention breathing down our asses but sometimes they setup road blocks and such specifically to catch cars with "louder then usual" exhausts. To keep an Evo LTA approved (Meaning street legal), a maximum you can probably reach is only about 400 - 500 horsepower at the crank. Exhausts are not allowed to be changed except for LTA approved ones. Turbos are illegal to change as well... And with cars costing so much who can afford track cars... My Evo cost me 120,000 SGD to buy 4 years back. And i got it second hand.
The best part, we have to send our cars in for an inspection every 2 years... Anything deemed illegal and you'll be slapped with fines. Law enforcement dont just focus on speeders... They actually specifically aim for modified cars. Sucks to be in a country that hates motoring that much... But Here are some cars that work their way around it.
