Ahoy mateys!

Im been setting her up for her maiden voyage down High Plains Raceway. A fast, 15 turn, road course with a straight just over half mile long. Most race prepped Evos and other models hit this straight well above 140mph. Should be exciting times!

Ive ordered a set of Dunlop Direzza ZII in 255/35/18s. Along with new Centric rotors, Raybestos ST43 pads in front, and Hawk HP+ in the rear. Ill need to get the car aligned after the new tires and will be ready to hit the track! She runs good short of the flutter. I also ordered a new Tial in hopes that will cure the fluttering. If it doesnt I still think it will be ok since the rpms will generally be well beyond 4k. Last thing I need to do is replace the tie rod ends as well.

Ill get up some results after the run. We should be there between July 4th to 6th. If you are ever in Colorado, you MUST check out HPR. Its a fantastic track!

Our club was present at Tuner Mayhem and a freelance photographer got a pic of the V!

The RR RS in the 2nd pic won best track/drift car and is absolutely pristine. The EB in the 3rd pic has won cleanest car 2 years in a row. Though this year didnt win. Our club won 2nd place for best car club represented! Pretty sweet. 2 more cars that didnt make it in the pics is a yellow jdm Evo 3, and white jdm Evo 4. The last pic is one of Colorado's fastest drag Evos. Holds a best of 10.1 @ 142mph. He was tryin to run 9s that day but soon after his first pass it rained and rained and rained. The above link is to his first and only pass that day, 10.248 @ 143mph.

been reading this thread on and off for a few days now just for fun, and it finally clicked that youre in denver and ive actually seen this car several times before haha love this car man, ive seen it a few times here and there at different places. didnt ever get a chance to talk to you, but glad that i can finally tell you its a beautiful car and i definitely admire yours and 3bar_dc2's hard work and dedication to make it what it is today. cheers!!

Here's a Evo 4 conversion in Colorado. Everything minus the engine and awd. Wouldn't take much more to finish the conversion and you'd be in it for less than 10k all said and done. It's a good price, uses all OEM panels and is extremely clean. He's asking $5k

I may be abit late to this post... But I do need your knowledge/ help ... So im not doing the mirage conversion, something I think hasn't been done?, maybe for a reason haha, but im mad enough to want it... I have a 96 GT Libero that I want to convert to independent rear (evo suspension)... im keeping the 1800 dohc turbo engine and working on that, but i need to know if i can use the floor plan of the evo?...


Any help would be greatly appreciated!

That's not a vehicle we have in the states, so I honestly couldn't tell you. But it looks like Evo 1-3 generation so it'd have to be one of those, if anything.
