Sounds like you have not cut the OEM fenders. If the alum fronts & the steel rear fenders are not cut, what has been gained

they are cut
on the front are cut past the the fender bend and the rear are cut 3.5 inches

here is the initial cut and the only pic that i have on the back followed the cut all the way down to the side skirt and took another inch or so off of the top on the front it was cut just above the bend on fender i used a oscillating tool to cut it out

jdmfenderflares1 on ebay is where i got mine. i ordered two different sets before i got the ones from this guy and they were both complete crap
and i also have a set of 4 inch that i haven't used

Looks good and mean with the tires, I like stock fenders with a nice drop. I'd be scared to cut in to my panels lol
