ive had a lot of good looks from that new maguires hot shot spray, the one with the adjustable nozzle depending on your tires wall size, really spits out an even amount with no foam, just straight up clean

wow this is surprising. I had exactly the opposite experience with the can I got....and i did mine with the tires both wet and dry so far, both with the same results. No splatter, and a very even satin finish (not overly glossy which is what I wanted)

Shining monkey works great on "Clean" rubber. Did not work too well on rubber that looked "Clean", but held up on actual "Clean" rubber. Only problem I have is that the stuff lasts so long, it doesn't wash off when you want it to. Also, no way to control overspray from aerosol can. My polished lip on my wheels doesn't care too much for that monkey. It wants to spank it.

IMHO this stuff is awesome. It does take maybe a 1/3 the can to get the desired results that I'm sure everyone buys it for, but it leaves it there for I dunno how long, I've had it on for about 3-4 weeks now, no joke, and it hasn't changed much. Great stuff..

Cleaning the rubber is very important for any tire shine. I use Westley's Bleach White. Spray it on, then take a bristle brush and scrub the sidewall. It removes that brown grime and old tire dressing and leaves a squeaky clean sidewall perfect for applying the tire shine. Westley's is the first thing I grab when I'm readly to wash the car. Using it for years.

Yep I cleaned my tires before I put it on. and the rest of the car and then waited for the tires to Dry before I put it on.
Either way, if its that much of a pain in the *** its not worth it in the long run. I dont have the need to contact them since I really dont think that there is a way for them to improve on what they currently have. Maybee in a couple of years or so it might me worth another try, but this stuff really aint all its cracked up to be.
