Ferodo DS2500 rear pads positioning

I just installed the 2500's all around. The fronts fit fine, but the rear pads appear to be not positioned properly. They are sitting too far down on the rotor, and the bottom (approx. 1/8'') are overhanging onto the raised lip of the rotor. I took the rear's off after about a day, and can see the impression on the pad where this lip is riding. Is this normal? I don't know what to do to fix this, as I can't move the pads any higher up and still make the pins line up with the holes. I can get a picture if that would help.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated. BTW...I haven't had one decibel of squeeling from any rotor with the 2500's, contrary to many a post I have read.

Thanks!

Here is a pic. It's not the best but the best I could get given the lighting. Maybe when it's dark I can get a better one. Note the pad towards the bottom and how it overhangs on the lip of the rotor.

I'm running the same pads and my rears sit the same way. I noticed it the next day after installing the pads because it "polished" the lip of the rotor where the stock pads sat. Doesn't seem to be a problem … the new pads will just conform to the shape. Personally, I haven't worried about it.

Sometimes when I slowly creep to a stop under very light pedal pressure, I'll get some squeel, but that's it. My stock pads also did this when the car was new.
