I just simple didn't know they were summer only tires because I bought them for my GTS, so I didn't have a sticker telling me not to drive in the snow. I had to find out the hard way haha

When I purchased my car about a month and a half ago I was pumped that it had brand spanking new tires on it.. Until driving about an hour away to the gf grandmothers surprise birthday and we ended up in 4in snow.. I was pumped cause I thought AWD acd is in snow mode I'm good. Well I was so wrong!! 2 days later before the big snow came I got some general altimax winter tires that can be studded. Wow crazy difference and there way better than blizzaks I have had both. If your looking for a inexpensive winter tire alternative check them out.

For places where studded tires are not allowed, I think Blizzak WS70s or X-Ice Xi3s are pretty good choices if you aren't looking for performance. Of course, studs will always give better traction.

In ice, yes. Not in snow.

ALMOST WINTER BUMP

Looks like winter might be early this year in the Tri-State NYC area.

You new EVO Owners better beware, your Stock Advans suck the BIG one once the freezing starts!!!

If you didn't yet, get a set of dedicated winter tires ftw!

Blizzaks or Hakkas for sure; AWD is no substitute for proper tires.

They will handle softer that's for sure. However, you'll love the ice/snow ability!
