are there even any reviews on the ksports from evom members? theyre only a few bucks more expensive for f/b setup than a 2piece rotor/pads/ss lines/etc etc brake package to use with the origional brembos

K-Sport and D2 are using same calipers and parts. I believe D2 is the main supplier. Increasing your caliper piston isn't always necessary. What are you using your car for? You will also want to check the piston sizing because if it’s too big and you only do the fronts you will have to much forward brake bias and it can affect your braking. If the stock brake system is still enough to lock up your wheels then a better tire is all you really need. Getting a 2pc rotor and some hotter pads might be all that’s necessary. I’m not totally sure I would trust 750hp to K-Sport or D2. If you’re putting out the big money for HP I wouldn't go with the cheapies on the brakes. The stock brakes are capable of handling some pretty heavy abuse if they are upgraded with the right parts.

alcon have 3 different kit. they are all 6 pot and same size caliber. The only differences are the caliber bracket and rotor size. My kit can't fit any wheel smaller than 18". Best to call Alcon directly and order them.

Do yourself a favor and just upgrade your pads, rotors,ss lines, and better fluid. There is no way you are going to get good use out of a bbk on the streets. Unless hyour car is a dedicated race car its basically pointless and for show queens. Almost all bbk's will increase your braking distance on the streets but a good one will help with fade in which you shouldn't have on the streets any way. If you have just run out of stuff to do or just want them for the bling factor I wouldn't waste my money period!!

There are plenty of atricles on this and it mostly has to do with brake biast. Like I said a more expensive and better engenered bbk will improve brake fade but I'd be willing to bet if you went out and tested them o-60 and 0-100 you will see that your stock brakes will generally out perform most of the bbk on the market. Especially the crap tastic Ksport and D2 stuff. Look up the article in Sport Compact Car where they tested stock vs. Brembo bbk you'll be shocked at the out come!! I 've read these same results multiple times. Bigger is not always better. For s straight race application I could see doing this but not for the street or track days.

very true. this man is totally right. Also on street you don't heat them up enough. My evo is a full road racing evo.
