Tom,
I spoke with a few people at Brembo and I thought it was the same caliper as the Track Package Z and Sti. Turns out it's unique to the EVO. Brembo does not sell this caliper over the counter. It's a pure OEM deal.

P.S. The shift knob rocks man, enjoying it much!

Have you tried the brake bleeder from Griot's garage? It pretty much eliminates the need for speed bleeders and it's a lot cleaner too.

I don't see where they talk about speed bleeders? The ABS system in this car does not have the hidden passages stoptech refers to.

Speedbleeders are the bomb. Please post numbers if they have them. This would also be good for the clutch slave for those changing out the lines.

That information isn't in the shop manual.

FWIW; I emailed www.speedbleeder.com telling them year make and model Evo and that the hex size of the stock bleeders is 11mm front and back. They said the part I need is definitely SB1010S.

I went ahead and ordered them with a little skepticism . I'll keep you posted on how they fit once I get them.

From what it looks like. We need 4 for the front and 4 for the back! Right?

Speedbleeders are available in the Help section at Napa and Kragen Autoparts (Chucks Auto in some areas) Part #12706. Clutch slave is #12709.
