Soft Brake Pedal

Just did the brakes in my car ( rotors ,pads,s.s. lines ) after bleeding rock hard pedal and everything was fine . Two weeks later I was under moderate braking and the front tire hit some sand and the abs engaged. After that my pedal is soft and it feels like they need to bleed again. Has this happened to anyone and what could have caused this ? Thanks for the help

Most likely there was air trapped in the ABS module. Try bleeding the brakes again to remove the air.
