its a regular mitsu wheel lock, of course the mitsu down here in ******** mississippi broke the key that fits my lock, I went to every dealership out here and noone has the right one nor can take it off for me...
Now i have a flat tire and car is sitting in my garage, has anyone been able to take the lock off with some ghetto rigging??
Thanx i need at least the flat tire off!!!

you can go to a pepboy or auto store and they have a key remover... you put it on a drill or impact gun and inside the bit is reverse thread so you screw it over your wheel lock then reverse the drill and it will lock over the key and remove it... i had the same problem

Hammer a close fitting socket on to it if you need to get it off right away. Every mitsu dealer should have a full set of mcguard keys, they are coded by color. Also there should be a card in your glovebox that has the key code for ordering a new one from mcguard. Alternatly, You can take a hires photo and email to mcguard and they can get you a key.

i got that thing ur talkin about, but the biggest size they had was for "19"mm bolts.. ive been beating the crap out of it but it wont get on there, a 19mm socket is like the ONLY size i dont have so im gonna go get one and im sure i'll be able to get it on there and take the wheel off... thanx for the help.
Also i got these wheel locks from a buddy so i dont have this color coded thing.. and the dealers master set didn't have any engravings on them...

and tool maker makes " easy off" sockets, they have a reverse bite in them so they grab the nut/bolt easier. im a mechanic for Mercedes, BMW, Audi, Porsche.....ect. i use them every time someone looses a wheel key. the sockets never fail
