NEVER DRILL THROUGH THE FIREWALL...........you might just hit things you don't know are there. Besides you could have easily run the lines for the boost controller through where the ECU wires come through on the passenger side, or through the driver side front fender with the diagnostics wires.

Hey bringing back an old thread. It actually wasnt to bad of a job to take out and fix. You have to remove the battery and all the other BS in the way but the way to fix it is to go to your local hardware store and get JB WELD and apply that to the booster. I let the booster sit for 24 hours to dry correctly. Works like a charm, I have had it done for more then a year and I am problem free. Let me know if you need anymore help.

Thats what I was going to try... So there is no fluid loss or spilling with this? Taking stuff out of the way wont be a problem.. I've got a small battery anyways.
I'm glad to hear it's not too hard to do.. I guess the only thing that's really hurting is my pride lol.

Yea JB WELD worked like a charm. There was no fluid loss at all in my case. If you want just double check the brake fluid reservoir (sp) I belive you need to remove that also but I kept the liquid in it. Honestly dont worry about it, it is a simple mistake **** happens. I was scared though when I did mine becuase I was broke and my Dad was saying I needed to buy the replacement part which I was quoted over $400+. So I was definetly happy when we found this resolution to the problem.

No fluid loss at all. The only thing you ned to watch out for is when you take the brake fluid reservoir off, make sure you have some rags so you dont drip it anywhere.

Ahh what a pain.. Those hard lines going into the master cylinder are a PITA to remove. I still havent even broke them loose. I'm afraid I'm going to strip the nuts on it it.
