Arrow Report your faults on BC coilovers here.

I'm about to buy some BC RM series coilovers (mainly because I've heard nothing but good things about them and they seem like a really good buy).

As BC are relatively new on the scene, I thought it would be a good idea for people to list what problems (if any) they have had with BC coilovers on this thread.

Please state miles of use, what sort of conditions and how the car has been driven (ie road, track etc).

To expand upon feedback I have also asked the same on MLR - see thread here: http://www.lancerregister.com/showthread.php?t=268574

I heard BC use the same factory as Megan. I also read story of people testing the dampers and find different rates on all the valves... If you are just daily driving I don't think it matter much but for serious performance go with JIC or KW or Stance.

Sometimes there is a lot of incorrect information circulated on forums.

I've seen posts on here about BC being the same as Megan. I'd like to see proof of this.

You state that BC coilovers are made in the same factory as Megan, how do you know this?

As far as I'm aware this is simply not true. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. Even if it was, just because something is made in the same factory doesn't mean it's the same coilover.
I have also read that a model of Apex coilovers are similar to a model of BC's.

I would like to see facts so we can clear this up.

Yes BC does manufactur the CO's for Megan as well as a couple other companys. BC uses bigger pistons then the Megans

I have BC's on my car put 60k on them on crappy NJ/PA roads. They finally started getting a little noisey.

Called BC and ordered 4 new shock cartridges at 95 a piece poof brand new CO's

I blew out my rear top hats on my Megans in under a year of use, sent me replacements but I ended up selling them off and going with KW v3's.

Just google it. It's all over the internet. Not just for the evo but I have read many comparison threads on z, FD, scuby etc... I am not saying they sucks they are ok for the money. But like I said if you really want serious performance you wanna look at something else like JIC with proved track records. Apex is not really good anyways kinda like the low end Teins.
