For the price and use the Ventus V12 evo K110 are a good bet.

But if I had to choose the 2 that you had to choose from I would say the yoko's.

but out of what SmikeEvo gave you the choice of. I would choose either the Hankooks or the Dunlop's. Granted the Dunlops cost a bit but your tire setup is the one thing you don't want to skimp out on money.

Dunlop direzza Star specs, I currently run es100's. They are super noisy and suck in the rain

i'd have to agree with wickedwhite8. i got the star specs at the beginning of the year and love them. they've worked out great considering i only have 1 set of tires right now, but they'll probably be on the car again next year since i'll finally have the $$ to have 2 sets of rims and tires

g/l!

I've had a couple of sets of the g-force sport. They are a decent tire and they lasted pretty long for me. I was going to get another set but I decided to try something new, I'm getting some potenza re-760's for my new wheels.

I have the ventus a few days now, and love them!

Small review so far:

Firstly, this is a nice looking tyre. Nice centre bead, solid shoulder for cornering stability. Off the car the sidewalls felt a little soft, but not bad. The compound by the treads also felt a little soft. The guy putting on the tyres noticed also, this is a good thing. Excellent for grip.

The guy at tyre clinic expertly removed some paint from the lip on my first rim and then corrected himself and was careful with the rest after.

Impressions:

These tyres are QUIET. I can hear every suspension noise and the music is much clearer in the car. I did some highway driving and backroad driving. The tyres seem to have a vague turn in on slow speeds but get more direct the faster you go. Sidewalls are somewhat soft, helping the ride, but seem to stand up well on corners. I have been taking it easy, so no tyre squeal or anything yet. Very confidence inspiring. To be quite honest these tyres remind me a LOT of birdgestone RE-01's, they are a little softer, but the characteristics are there.

This was only dry weather, will see what happens in the rain and write some more.

I wouldn't get either of these. For how much they cost, Star Specs are probably the best you can get.

Why carry so much weight in a street tire, when its performance advantage will never be realized?

i really like the continental dws that is out now. good daily tire that can handle fairly well. I am still debating between that and yoko advan s4 but only since light tires may make me spin again. best part about the dws is it tells you when it is no longer good for snow, rain, or at all.

I have KDW's on my WRX and they are awesome. People say theyre not good in the rain but I havent had any problems.

The NT-05 and NT-01 look sexy *** hell too.

I might get the RE 070 I beleive they are for the evo if I dont get the NT01

i have kdw 2 right now. love them, except not all season and earlier this year we had a record snow fall and my superior's told me to suck it up and come to work. kind of hard with 5' of snow and tires that would not even get me out of the driveway.
