The tire that the member suggested is a stance, stretch fit & not recommended to be used on that wide wheel. You should have given everyone the offset so Minus could have run your no.s

18 x 9.75 +20 is a very aggressive offset for the stock body EVO which always requires rear fender work

Ran your no.s using the 245/35, 245/40, 255/35 & 255/40

Either way, you will be needing the full rear fender treatment (roll, fender pull & likely a bumper bolt re-locate). 9.75" wide wheels are not sanctioned to run a 245 tire so you are at the limits

If youre into the Stance scene then others will tell you to run out of spec camber & use a stretched tire like a 235 or a 245 to get this to fit

This recommendation is running stock rear camber & a no rub fit

Dont get me wrong, +20 can work if you do the proper rear fender treatment & you cant be shy about rolling & pulling the rears

BTW, forgot to mention, you should verify the offset by reading the identifiers on the back of the wheel hub

MinusPrevious. With that picture with the advans on the Evo. What are the specs on those wheels? I'm assuming with 275 tires, it requires heavy modification of the body (bumper bolt, roll, cut)

They are very modestly sized RGII 17x9 +29 (its the tires that makes this set-up aggressive). The body work took almost 7 hours of professional work. No cutting. Nice roll, w/ a porta-pwr pull, bumper bolt relocate & removal of the rear splash guards

Getting ready to order new shoes.
Work DR9s. 18x9.5 +23. I am on cusco coils. Will i have fitment issues? My fenders are currently not rolled or cut. I am still on Stock MR 17s .

Also what size tire do you guys recommend?

Well, Ran the following for you on the calc.

265/35/18 w/ the +23 wheel = Full rear fender treatment (roll, fender pull & a rear bumper bolt relocate)

255/40/18 = Full rear fender treatment (roll, fender pull & a rear bumper bolt relocate)

255/35/18= Same as above less bumper bolt relocate

+23 is a bit on the wild side so that is why the rear fender work is needed

Note: Recommendation is based on stock camber & no rub fit

Make sure the +23 fits over the calipers w/out spacers !!!

Awesome info. Guess I will have to do some thinking. They only offer that size with the 23 offset. Don't have anything to test fit it either so would be an order then make it fit type deal..

will rpf1's at 18x9.5 +15 fit with stock suspension without having to roll/pull fenders with 255's?

Sorry, but way too aggressive. The doable offset range is approx +20 to +38

+20, you would need some serious rear fender work (roll, pull, etc, etc)

The +38, no fender work required

i got a 2006 evo and was looking at fitment of the enkei pf01-ev0, i want to fit 18x9.5, I'm drop with no wheel gap, which offset should i get? they come in 0,12, and 22 offset. i don't plan on wheel spacer or rolling fenders, I'm flexible on tire size...

Well, the zero & the +12 are out of the question. If you go w/the +22 (which is a very aggressive offset) you are faced w/rear fender work (roll, pull & possible bumper bolt re-locate depending on tire choice)

I ran these no.s on the calc (18x9.5 +22 w/a 255/35 tire). You will likely need a rear roll & a rear fender pull. Possible no bumper bolt relocate
Note: This recommendation is running stockish rear camber & a no rub fit

Note: Make sure this wheel can clear the front calipers!

I currently run 235/40/18 tires on 18x8 +25 rims, stock suspension. Will upgrading to 245/40/18 fit? I’d like to push the front out a bit, could I put a 10mm spacer on the front with 245/40/18 and be ok?

Sure, The 245/40 can be used. It is very large in circumference! You will need a rear fender roll at the minimum if lowered. On stock susp it may give you the appearance of fitting but if you compress the susp hard you may hit.

+25 is a very aggressive offset & the 245, although not very wide, in general is wide on an 8" wheel (square shouldered vs stretched)

Yes, you can run that 10mm up front & should be OK w/fitment but expect some liner rub if youre lowered. On stock susp, no problem.

A lot of RPF-01 questions these days.

I have a IX with the rear fender already rolled pretty darn flat and the intended summer setup will be RPF-01 with the following:

- 17x9 +22 RPF-01
- Dunlop Direzza ZII tire in 255/40-17
- Bilsten HD shocks and Swift spec-R springs

Should I anticipate additional fender work to make this fit for track purposes? My research indicates that this might be a bolt-on affair, but am not 100% sure.
