The worst case would be a cheap 3mm spacer up front.

If it's for the Prelude in you personal info, I have no clue.

I'm a dumbass. These don't fit an evo unless you want to use like a 1" spacer.

Too many unanswered variables.
What wheel?
What do the spokes look like?
Are you ok with adding a 5 or 6mm spacer if necessary? At that pont the wheel would stick out a little bit.

Hey fellas. Will 18x9.5 ~35mm fit? Fender rolling is not an issue with me.
+1 , I also ordered the time attacks in 18X9.5 +34 offset, Will these fit OK? will i need spacers? Tires will be (255 35 18), i also want to install a 355mm big brake kit (Brembo or Stoptech).

you should be ok. i know some guys with 18 x 9.5 5zigens also with 35offset. also running 255/35/18 and they are nearly slammed on coilovers. they arent rubbing at all and no fender rolling.

it's a long shot, and i know it will take some work, but will a 17x9 +22 Super Advan SA3R fit with 055/40/17? i'm pretty sure the calipers are not an issue at all, but i wonder how much camber/roll/pull is necessary and if theat's even enough? Seems about 6mm too low offset than ideal. I dont mind them sticking out bit, i just don't want them rubbing. the fronts are not my concern (b/c pull, wide fenders+camber in front is easy and effective. it's whether i can work around the back fender in this size with less than 2 degrees of camber...

Most ppl with 17x9's are running close a +35mm offset and from what I've heard, this doesn't rub at all with 255/40 tires. (I am going to order CE-28's in that exact setup for my car tomorrow)

So yours would stick out about 1/2" farther than that, so I would suspect it can be done, but you will definitely need to do some fender rolling, and your steering geometry might be a little weird.

I have this set up Volk CE28 17x9 +35mm with 255-40-17 Yoko Advan rubber. no rubbing issues.

Whether or not it has spacers shouldn't really matter, because after spacers, you still have an offset. What you want to find out is what offset is required for 18x9.5.

Not likely. 17x9.5 comes in a +28 and a +35 that will both clear the calipers without spacers, but I'm pretty sure it will rub in the back if you go any bigger than a 255/40/17, at which point a 17x9 +35 will work great without any rubbing. If you want a 275/40 then a 17x9.5 would be better, but you will have to roll the fenders.

+35mm offset and a 255/35/18 should be ok. Might need a very small (3-5mm) spacer in front.

Probably will need to roll the fenders to stop what will likely be minimal rubbing.
