^^^I would steer clear of both =)

As you may know, the stock offset is +38. IMO, your first goal should be to find a set of wheels that do not require spacers. If you have to go the spacer route look to the proven sets like Enkei RPF1s / NTO3's etc

Look above a few posts (post 2826) & click on those wheel links. Find something proven that you like & we can talk later about fitment

Thanks Minus! Yeah I have the FN's. I think they look hideous IMHO, but they do have excellent caliper clearance.

I'm going with a 18x9 +30 MB Battles on a 245-40-18 Dunlop Direzza DZ102, no spacers required

Hey guys, I'm wondering is 18x10.5 with +15 Work Crs will tuck on stock body? I highly doubt it but im just looking around. Im guessing the tire would have to be like a 245 40 or 35 to fit. Btw im on bags.

Read this thread here on the 10.5 wide setup. Most of the guys running this are hard core track guys. But a least you will be able see what type of offset & the work required to get this to fit on the stock body EVO

10.5 possible, +15 no way

I haven't heard of anyone using 16" on Evo 8, but seeing if it would work. I found a set of Buddy Club P1 rims locally, its 16X7 with +22 and +33 offset. Just going for the lightest possible setup and still clear the breaks. Going from 17 to 16 should save me a couple pounds of unspung weight. I am also trying to avoid spacers if possible. Thanks in advance for any help

I certainly like your idea of reducing rotating mass. I am not well versed the 16's but I think there maybe a few drag guys running them (may fit over the Brembos)

Check out this thread

Can anyone confirm that 17x9.5 et35 Ce28n's clear the brembo Brakes. I know that 17x9 et35 and 17x9.5 et28 do, but couldn't find any info on 17x9.5 et35.

Comb through this thread here & see if you can find someone running that spec

Cheers

Advan RS

Looking to buy a set of advan rs. I noticed a lot of guys on here run 18x9 +29 offset. Is there any other wheel size/ offset I can run without running spacers or fender rolling.

The Advan series are one of the best wheels regarding weight & EVO compatibility

I run a similar Advan. RGII 17x9 +29 running 275/40's. No spacers on these as well & they weigh approx 16.8#'s

Not sure of the other offsets. +29 is aggressive enough as I needed some relatively extreme rear fender work to get that pkg to fit

Your 18x9 +29 will require at min a roll depending on tire choice

Will a ssr gtv02 in 17x9 +38 clear the brembos on a evo9? If not, how much spacer would be needed to make it clear?

Did a quick search for you & found non w/the tag GTV 02. There are certainly some SSR threads so search those & see if you find some info.
This wheel is likely not used here on EVOM
