Finally got my wheels and tires on and fenders rolled

Front : 18x9.5 +10 (originally +15, needed 5mm spacer to clear Brembos)
Rear : 18x9.5 +15

Tires: 255/35/18 all the way around

Heres a search string which may give you some ideas:

Im interested in buying a set of Rota p1r's 18x9.5 30mm offset. I was wondering if these would fit without any brake clearance issues?

Thanks

I searched a bit for you & no hits on this P1R. I run the P45R 17x9.5+30 & those clear. Rotas designs have done well w/EVO fitments

I would call the WheelDude direct & maybe those guys know (510) 252-1111

A conservative size & just 5mm away from the EVOx wheel spec. The issue will likely be front caliper clearance in which a spacer will be needed

Otherwise you are good to go. Tire size suggestion = 255/35 or be bolder w/a 255/40

Layed this out on the calculator. Running a 255/40 on a +27 will require a rear fender roll, a pull & the bumper bolt move. +27 is aggressive & the 255 is the perfect choice for a 9"r

Now, Im not sure of how the wheel fit over the front Brembos (most wheels dont w/out spacers)

Hi all,

Wanting to buy some street and track rims

Volks TE37 is my choice

1) 17x9+28 will these fit comfortably for track work with 255/40/17 semis tire? I.e no rubbing under any normal track load

2) 18x9.5+22 will these fit 255/35/18 or 40 profile with rear guard work and have to relocate the rear bumper bolt? This setup for street.

And would I need to run ridiculous amounts of camber?

3) I have had Wed sports tc105n in 17x9+35 and volks re30 18x9.5+22 and both these specs require 3mm spacer up front to fit. Will my two specs above 1 and 2 for TE37 clear it better because of rim design and no longer require spacers?

Thanks in advanced

Tony

2. 18x9.5+22 running a 255/40/18. The rear fender work noted above will be needed here as well but even more roll & more fender pull. Doable, but your rear fenders will likely show the fender pull (slight crease)

3. Some Volks are very Brembo friendly & Im not 100% sure these TE's fit. Comb over this thread here & see if you can find a post with your size

What all would I need to do to get Enkei RS05RR Wheels (18x9.5", 35mm) to fit? Possibly the (18x9, 25mm set) I have an Evo 8 on stock suspension. I'll be running a 255/35/18 tire.

The calculator says that the 9.5" wheel w/the +35 offset for sure will need a fender roll but due to the width a very minimal fender pull may be need. Stock suspension may mask the need for the fender work but you should seriously consider installing springs

The +25 offset wheel for sure will need the full rear fender treatment. Fender roll, pull & bumper bolt needed

The 255/35 tire is a good, modest choice

Cant help w/the front Brembo caliper clearance. Make sure you test fit or have received good info of front caliper fit

I am looking at a set of 17x9 RPF1s. I assume the +45 offset will work without issue running a 235 or 245 tire?

Just wanting to be certain, thanks!
