You are still on the search

Have you been through the TE37 thread
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...37-thread.html

Typically, the concave spokes come w/the lower offsets. Let me know if you see anything you like & will run it up on the calc for ya

Yup, read the whole thread. +35 is flat faced, +22 has the nice concave but requires rolling in the rear. I was hoping to discover a mid way point, like +28 or something. No such luck. I'll let you know if I stumble upon something. Thanks for your help! The search continues......

TE73 Super lap comes in 17x9 +28. You will have to do fender work in the rear though.

Rota G-Force 18in on EVO 8

Hey Guys,

I wanted to see if anyone knew if the Rota G-Force 18in rims would fit well on an Evo 8. The 8 has a stock offset of +35mm and the Rota G-Force I found in 18in had a +48mm offset. Does anyone know if I can find that rim with a better fitting size or something that looks similar in gold?

The stock EVO 8 offset is +38. Steer clear of higher than +38 offsets unless spacers are used

Rota has many wheels that work well w/the EVO. Look for sizes ranging from 18x9 to 18x9.5 w/offset in the range of +29 to +35

You can call the WheelDude direct & they can recommend (510) 252-1111

Unlikely w/out a spacer. I searched & found a few threads (not many replies)

What size spacers would you recommend? I could get an amazing deal for these and wouldn't want to pass up!

There's no real formula for figuring out spacer size. Its all trial & error. The offset you're looking at is very EVO friendly & rear fitment will be no problem.

If you can trial fit these wheels before buying, that would be best

Hi guys

Looking at buying a set of work emotion d9r in 18x9.5 for my evo8
They come in a +12, +23 and +30 offset.

Just wondering what would be recommended and with what size tyre.

Not fussed in needing to get guard work done. Just want a nice looking fitment with hopefully not much need for much camber to.

The +12 is out of the question. The +23 will require some serious rear fender work. The +30 will require fender work as well but is very doable

Think about running a 255 or 265/35/18 tire. Mapping this out for you (255/35/18 w/the +30) on the calculator will require the following. A fully rolled rear fender lip or a lighter fender roll & a bit of a rear fender pull. May not need the rear bumper bolt relocate. Leave the rear camber stock unless you are tracking
The front fit will not be much of an issue but you may need to run a front spacer w/this wheel to clear the caliper. Make sure you check into that!
