If the rear shims are not angled, I suggest you put the OEM shims on

The angled shim was designed that way for a reason. Ive experienced that first hand

Which shims are you talking about ?
Those stuck in the back of the brake pads ?

^^^Make sure you are using the stock OEM front & rear shims. I had installed aftermarket rear shims & my rears squeaked terribly. Heres a pic of the OEM shim set as an example (must ensure the arrow is pointed in the proper rotor direction)

Thanks for the info,


My old brake pads didn't have that kind of shims on it and they were not noisy.


It's good to know that this kind of shims exist for our brakes.
