Talking XXR 521 Owners CHIME IN HERE

I am looking for a definite answer on what it takes to run these wheels..

XXR 521, 18x10 (+25)..
http://www.nlmotoring.com/XXR-521-Wh.../52180142n.htm

What size tire is the widest you can fit? I am not looking for a stretched look.. I just love the look of this wheel.

What spacers are needed if any? Extended studs?

Rolling of fenders only? Or is flaring required..

Please if you have a set of these wheels on your car chime in. Thank you!

Trust me I did, and that is probably the most unorganized thread on this forum. Again, no definitive answer, just speculation. If you care to actually help you should respond otherwise move along.

in the same boat as you.. i've pm'd several members that run the wheels on their car.

Rolled fenders and some have pulled fenders
hammer pinch welds (in the tire fitment thread/wheel fitment thread)
so far i keep hearing 25mm hubcentric spacers and they come with the studs in the spacer if thats what your referring to.
some do flaring with the evo dave kit for the front.. I think it looks better IMO rather than having the massive wheel poke.
As far as tire width im not sure... I'm trying to run a 265 on them but it depends on ride height.

Check through the "stanced" thread cause many people run them in there and pm some people.. BrendanS and a couple other members helped me out with info on them as far as fitment.

GL with the wheels

in for more info as well though on width of tires to be positive

Here is a response I got driectly from somebody who runs these wheels, just for reference to people who were looking for the same answers I was.

(Quoted from another member)

-You'll have to run 25mm spacers up front to clear the brembos
-Remove fender liners up front and the rear
-Roll fenders (i haven't rolled mine fully flat, just a bit, but im not that low)
-Hammer in the pinch welds, or else it will cut up your tires at full turn
-my camber specs are -4f -2.5 rear (if you get the evodave fender mod up front you can run -2.5 camber)

I'm running 245/40 which gives it a slight stretch, but nothing noticeable. I believe that's the highest you can run without doing major fender work because I ran 245/45s and had to change em since I didnt wanna flare my fenders.

I had them a little bit ago. Someone said they got away with a 23mm front spacer..

I used

25mm front spacer
custom fender spacer mod,
Rolled and pulled a little rears,
fronts I ended up dremeling the edge off,
fender liners removed
Hammered pinch welds
Grinded teh rear bumper bracket and moved the bolt
225/45 r 18(had like 1000 miles on them i got for $100)

From my experience with them I would have wanted 255/30's at least
The 45 sidewall made the tire to big as i was low and was rubbing on weld when i was turning and hitting the top frame rail when i was driving a hair.
