Why can't I find outer tie rods anywhere locally?

Why can't I find outer tie rods anywhere locally?

I've tried everywhere locally everywhere says they have them in stock but none of them fit.. The threads are too small.

I'm just going to go to the dealership and get some but jeeze it's kind of frustrating

Did you try Napa? The Autozone or Advance here only carry Lancer parts even though they think they have Evo parts, Napa has been my only local place that gets it right though.

Not sure where ur from but I got mine from api (auto parts international). They were the only ones around my area (central pa) that had one in stock.

You asked why. I gave you the answer why, it's an evo. You will be running into this problem often locally, ordering stuff online is your only other option.
