EVO V, Dual exhaust Outlet?

Hi

I really like the dual exhaust outlet (much sportier I think), look of the new 2014 Subaru WRX's and was wondering if anyone has done something similar on their EVO or some gurus can offer advice?

Regards

PS,I was told the AYC unit could be a problem if I was going for this look by an exhaust shop.

Of all the parts you can buy for an evo, I would think a second exhaust tip would be near the bottom of the list. Extra weight and no power increase ftl.

I've seen it done on an Evo III in my home country years ago. It looked nice but didn't give any performance benefit.

So you want to add weight, drag, and no performance benefit?

The only real performance gain from having a twin exhaust setup is to maintain or increase exhaust flow while keeping the cars noise at a more tolerable lower decibel. It should fork as close to the turbo a possible for it to be a truly functioning performance piece. In any other case its more for looks then anything or done so to decrease single large pipes from sagging under the car so that you can have more ground clearance or space for belly pan aero provisions.
