245/45/18 tire fitment?

Ok bit of a back story here, my car has Infinity G35 wheels powdercoated bronze with 245/40/18 tires on it. For some reason the back tires always wear down faster than the front, so I just ordered 2 tires for it. On an impulse I bought some great priced Falken Ziex 18s. It wasnt until they got here that I realized I got 245/45s instead of 245/40s. Ive had them for sale on half a dozen forums and they wont sell for even half of what I paid, so I think Im just going to get 2 more 245/45s and just replace all 4 tires. My question being I guess for the lowered crowd, how well do 245/45s fit? My car is lowered on Eihbach sportlines, and with the 245/40s I was pretty close to rubbing, Im hoping the 45s dont rub when I turn.

Pics are of my car from last year when I still had these rims on, trying to show the ride height/tire clearance. Im too lazy to upload to photobucket right now

The 245/45's will be an inch taller than the 245/40's, so if clearance is tight now, it will be worse with the taller tire. Mount one to the car and check how much room you have, especially up front with turning. Only sure way you'll know.

245/45s are tall, probably won't fit. and will most likely pull the front fender liners out, if they don't completely jam up against the firewall when making tight turns.

Thats what I was afraid of...Perhaps Ill try to put them on craigslist again and see if I can get any offers for them. Id rather just take a loss on the tires and get 4 new 245/40s than risk buying 2 more and get all of them mounted to find out they rub everywhere

I have 245/35/18s on my 2003 with somewhere if 1" lowering springs. There are also wheel spacers that are about 3/8" maybe less. With that setup it is very tight. I don't rub anywhere but ground clearance is killing me.

My ground clearance is a bit sketchy too, but if I watch what Im doing I dont scrape or anything. Guess Ill just take the loss and buy new tires then.
