I've tried them - Not really a fan.

I have a set of Project MU HC+ that were just screaming up a storm so I decided to try something a little quieter. Went with a set of HP plus that were almost as bad. My mechanic asked his brake supplier for a replacement and they sent the 5.0.

Pro's

Quiet
Not a lot of brake dust
Had minimal fading for a track day

Con's

This was a big one. The brake bite sucked big time. It just didn't grab that well.

Next track day I put the Project Mu's back in and there was a huge difference. Yes it dusts like no one's business but surprisingly enough a lot of the brake squeal went away after so I've left them on.

Did you have this feel before the track day too? just wondering if something went wrong @ the track with these pads.... What track did you run? max speed entering the slowest corner mph?

The HP+ would still be a tad more aggressive for that weekend auto-x or lapping day driver.

I personally would put the Hawks a click or so above performance/braking wise the Stoptech's.

Yep - Before the track day and after. Street driving you definitely had to give myself extra time and space to slow down. Didn't have that problem with the HP plus but the noise was almost as bad as the Mu's.

Canadian Tire Motorsport DDT - You can you tube it. Even my mechanic who was the one looking for alternate pads for me that didn't squeal like a beyatch complained about them when he drove my car around the track. The reason why he recommended I switch back to the Project Mu's for track days. Just turned out to be a bonus that running it at the track got rid of most of the noise driving on the street.
