how do you read willtheyfit
So, I was trying to figure out if 18x9.5 +20offset would fit on my Evo.
I went to willtheyfit.com and trying to figure out but have no idead if this will clear front brakes, need spacers, or need rear fender roll.
I compared it with stock setup and its saying
"Compared to your existing wheel, this new wheel will have an inner rim which is 18.1mm closer to the suspension strut. The outer rim will poke out 58.1mm more than before. "
Do you think this setup is somewhat reasonable setup? I wouldn't mind fender rolling but trying to figure it if I need spacers to clear front/rear brakes.

The wheel inputs I see on your calculator are:
Existing = 16x6.5 ET40 w/a 205/55 tire
New = 17x9.5 ET20 w/a 235/40 tire
Where did these no.s come from, as they dont match your new wheel notes of a 18x9.5 +20 running a 245/35 tire?
In any event, the 18x9.5 +20 is very tough to fit in the rear. No spacer will be needed in the rear but you are facing some serious fender rolling, fender pulling, bumper bolt relocation to get this to fit
Front caliper clearance will be unknown unless we know what model wheel youre looking at & someone has performed the fit-up (its all in the spoke design)
Most of us here who are function oriented would advise you to move that offset up to +28 to +35 to get the best fit performance

I run this setup currently and I'd say that I like the look of 255/35/18 better (previous tire).
Second, +20 is a hair too aggressive IMO. Rubbing will depend on how low your car is even if you pull, roll, trim the fender. Your contact is with the rear bumper, then it calls for the clipping point to be relocated yadda yadda
