I may be really lucky, but I have the dust shields and nothing more than the OEM air guides. Then again, I don't know that I've seen much more than 125ish MPH (in 5th gear and going too fast to check the speedo before the braking zone LOL), so that could be why.
+1. I basically run the same setup. I didn't notice any difference between modern rubber lines and the SS lines, once I installed them, but everyone told me to get 'em LOL.
I will bet money that you will go faster with less power. The amount of grip and braking needed to keep 500whp in check is somewhat extensive.

Sometimes specific brake energy for a track is not always about top speed.
We have ways to calculate brake energy or thermal energy for tracks based on test data.
Sometimes the smaller tracks with more brake zones are worse because there are no areas of high speeds to help cool the disks. Zones with less time on/off brake don't allow heat to dissipate.
At the very least you use the OEM air guides, which have at least had testing to prove some level of effectiveness. However, for dedicated track the security of ducts is the way to go ... potentially will help your pad wear.

Kaj do you have any weight reduction on your vehicle?

Did the 6 Pistons Front Calipers installed over the weekend..
Baer Brake 6P
Aluminum Modified brackets
Baer 2 Piece Rotors 355MM x 29MM
Hawk DTC-60
Motul RBF600
Stoptech
Cant argue for the price for this set up used, so I did it.
And work as is should be!
Felt way more difference in terms of control, stability & stopping power...

Mine was 3370 with me in it. Don't remember how much fuel, but I never let it get too low.
I have braided lines, DTC60's on Centric High Carbons, AMSOil DOT4 and 255 R-S3's. I've never once lost the brakes. It's all about using them correctly.
Max, now that you've got the upgrade out of the way, just work on technique. Don't be afraid to have an instructor ride with you and ask to focus on braking. It will definitely help.

Nice kit.
Also, awesome wheels. Just ordered a set of those in 18x10.5 +25 for my GF's X MR. Can't beat the pricing on those Konigs for a flow formed wheel.
