well i have the HTR+ for all season tires and would recommend them for that. i have heard the high performance ones i think they are HTZ or HTZ+ are good. havent tried them. had a guy at a tire store tell me that though. they are reasonably priced as well compared to some stuff (yokos).

I just got finished shopping for tires and I was going to go with the Sumitomos but went with the Kumho ECSTA ASX. W rated ultra high performance all season tire. I am very impressed with the ride comfort and handling. And for $570.00 mounted, balanced and installed with the accidental puncture warranty, they replace if I get a flat, it's a great price for all season performance.

i bought the sumi hrt+ for my evo in dec when i was home on leave it snowed alot and i wantd to drive my car every day. they rocked in the snow drove from NH to RI in 5 inches of snow at 55mph no problem then home again RI to NH in 18 inches of snow 40 mph no problem. once i was back in nh the roads were packed snow did 70 the rest of the way they are great for a winter tire. as far as a summer or performance tire they handle well but if you expect the car to feel the same as the a-064 you will be disapointed. im saving my a-064 for track days.

I have found tires to be a really subjective thing based on the car they are installed on - what has worked well for me on one car very often does not work well on another car.
We have used the HTRZ2's on many customers RWD cars (RX7's and M3's mainly) and they ahve worked out well, and are a good value/dollar. let me know if you need any, as I can get them fairly easily.

I have HTR+ all-seasons and they work wonders in the winter. I got rid of my Advans because I thought that I wouldn't need them because I could just use the Sumitomo's all year round. Plus the cost it was to mount and balance them on my stock rims wasn't worth it.
However last weekend I was driving through the twisties in some metroparks and I took a curve too hard and drifted right off the road. Luckily it was into a patch of grass otherwise I would have been an unhappy camper. But nonetheless I can't take a corner half as fast as with the advans without worring about slippage.
I need some summer tires back!
