spring and shock combo
Alright- I know that the general opinion is that coilover are best- i do not disagree with that. My question is it also an option to go with a decent spring and shock combo. Key word being combo- in other words Do not just buy springs and lower the car. Does koni or any ony else make an aftermarket shock that provides better performance than stock? The reason i ask is because i have been waiting to change suspension but i just have not committed to dropping serious coin on coilovers yet because i do not know which to go with. I had an eclipse that had koni adjustables and progress springs and that set up worked very well- obviously less adjustability than full coilovers but fine for me
thanks

Do a search, there are plenty of threads out there about it.
No aftermarket shocks out there for the EVO yet, so you either do springs only or go all out to coilover setup. But if you want to lower your car with springs only, go for it. Many people have done it with good results. Springs like Tein S-Tech, Tanabe GF210, Espelir, Eibach, and H&R are someof your choices....
Again, do a search
